Job Description


:
Manage and uphold the integrity of comprehensive IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, network, security, connectivity, VOIP, point of sale, and card payment systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Ensure the availability and flawless performance of critical retail systems, including e-commerce, card payment systems, point of sale systems, and essential business applications, fostering uninterrupted operations and exceptional user experiences
Manage the seamless deployment of changes and upgrades, implementing rigorous testing procedures to uphold system stability and integrity, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing any potential disruptions
Safeguard data integrity and minimize system downtime by diligently maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedures, providing robust protection against data loss, and ensuring business continuity
In charge of overseeing user access, security permissions, and licensing to ensure proper management and adherence to security protocols
Design and implement strategies aimed at automating, continuously monitoring, and enhancing the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of the companys digital processes and systems
Streamline and optimize existing business applications and processes through seamless integration and enhancements
Create, build, deploy, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures through a comprehensive design and implementation process
Execute routine maintenance tasks and provide support for release deployments outside of regular working hours
Supervise the IT support team by providing coaching and implementing performance management strategies to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective user support
Accountable for overseeing asset management and maintaining control over the annual budget to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness
Oversee vendor relationships and monitor their performance to ensure they provide effective support to the business
Offer assistance and support for vital production systems

Skills & Experience:
Comprehension of the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) retail and/or hospitality industry
Proficiency in integration, process automation, and AI technologies, as well as the ability to utilize these platforms to implement effective business solutions
Hands-on experience in administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, DNS, and DHCP
Proficient in managing Fortigate Firewalls, routing, VPN, Vlan, and SDWAN
Hands-on experience with ecommerce and point of sale platforms
Expertise in Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Intune Endpoint management, and Defender
Demonstrating a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and pride in your performance, recognizing its significant impact on the success of the company
Hands-on experience implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures
Having the knowledge to effectively leverage technology in a cost-optimized way
Capable of actively contributing and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with web-based technologies such as REST API, OData, JSON, XML, and JavaScript

Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or proven experience-based equivalent
