Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To design, develop and produce learning and teaching material; deliver either across a range of modules or within a specific subject area and inspiring meaningful discussions, consulting with other academics and professionals. Lecturers will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes and grading assignments according to the Institutions' strategy, policy, and procedures, contributing to activities that influence leading-edge practice.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A relevant Honours degree (NQF 8) in related field of study with sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the related field. A relevant Master's degree (NQF 9) or near completion of a Master's degree would be advantageous. Previous teaching experience (contact, blended and distance learning). Published work would be advantageous. Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work extended hours to reach deliverables. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to lecture the following Modules:

Programming( C++, C#, Java, Python) Cyber Security IT project Management Internet Programming Math's Statistics for Data Science
