Job Description

This is an on-site field contract role for an Information Technology Support Technician. Technician will be responsible to assist with multiple sites in and around Stellenbosch. The Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting desktop computers, supporting printers, and repairing computers. The role requires daily interaction with end-users and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills Experience in supporting desktop computers and printers Computer repair and maintenance skills Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of operating systems and software Candidate needs to possess the required experience and IT qualifications to perform 1st and 2nd line IT support. Additional responsibilities (basic asset management, reporting, update and maintain documentation, etc.) will be required. Relevant IT certifications or degree 5+ Years experience with onsite Support
