Architectural Expertise:

Demonstrate an excellent understanding of architecture components, including servers, firewalls, routers, virtualization, backup techniques, application components, and databases.

Assess clients' existing IT infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential points of failure.

Recovery Procedure Development:
-
Create robust and tailored disaster recovery procedures for enterprise IT applications, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.

Test and refine recovery plans through regular drills and simulations.

Project Management:

Apply strong project management skills to coordinate and execute disaster recovery projects effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects within scope and budget.

Technical Consultation:

Provide expert technical guidance to clients on disaster recovery best practices and strategies.

Offer solutions and recommendations for improving the resilience of IT systems.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed documentation of disaster recovery plans, procedures, and configurations.

Generate reports and documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.

Client Collaboration:

Foster strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor in disaster recovery planning and execution.

Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A degree /diploma in IT/Computer Science/ Information Systems
- Proven track record in creating recovery procedures for enterprise IT applications.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation in an advisory or consulting environment.
- Strong project management background with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in business continuity and disaster recovery (e.g., ISO 22301 and ISO 27031).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven detailed work experience in all the relevant technologies and platforms are a plus (e.g., infrastructure management, database administration and application development).

- Methodology Assessment: Proficiency in evaluating existing disaster recovery methodologies and the ability to diplomatically challenge outdated practices.
- ISO Compliance: Knowledge and experience in recommending and implementing disaster recovery solutions.
