Purpose of Position: To perform activities related to the integration of data across various sources into an organised and unified view. This individual will participate in the monitoring of data flow between databases, servers and Cloud services. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.

Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or an Advanced Technology-related Degree. (Required)

Required Experience: 4 xe2x80x93 6 years of direct experience in enterprise-level DI., Direct, hands-on experience with automated DI tools., Excellent understanding of the organisationxe2x80x99s goals and objectives., Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping., Experience with data integration architectures., Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc, Knowledge of network protocols and standards., Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques., Previous exposure to Cloud DI and management., Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional databases between disparate business units and systems., Strong background in risk management methodologies as they relate to integration and Cloud computing., Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies., Strong understanding of end-user needs and requirements., Technically fluent in programming languages.

Key Responsibilities: Build relationships with development and infrastructure engineering teams to gain an understanding of different data architectures and required functionality., Collaborate with analysts, data stewards, developers, and system owners in the testing of newly incorporated databases and integration measures., Conduct research on emerging DI products, languages, and standards in support of procurement, development, security, and integration efforts in relation to the Cloud, BI, and big data management., Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the companyxe2x80x99s overall strategic vision., Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfil enduser requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues., Ensure the collection and coherent interpretation of the various business processes affected by integration efforts., Execute, and manage the strategic integration of new data and data stores into existing systems and infrastructure throughout the enterprise, including the introduction of Cloud services as applicable., Frequently compare DI solutions with those available in the market to assess and monitor levels of service provided by current vendors., Liaise with developers as well as engineers to address issues in data patterns and architecture., Participate in revising DI architectures when required to be compatible with changing business needs and client standards so that all legal, compliance, and operational requirements, such as data sovereignty, regulatory security and privacy policies, and service level agreements (SLA), are accounted for., Participate in the deployment and maintenance of any DI tools, be they DI-as-aservice (DIaaS) or DI On-premise, deemed appropriate for the organisation., Participate in the testing phase of DI development to identify and remedy potential problem areas., Review data quality, addressing any issues through the creation of new processes or adjustment of the DI architecture., Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimise the impact of integration on those processes., Work with business associates to negotiate terms for SLAs when looking at Cloud DI.
