Job Summary
Job Opportunity: IT Consultant Location: Sandton, Johannesburg (Part-time)
Our client of Hominum Solutions based in Sandton is looking for a solution-driven IT Consultant to join their team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide help-desk support to all employees
- Manage employee onboarding/offboarding (accounts, permissions, hardware)
- Ensure data security and monitor cybersecurity threats
- Liaise with software vendors and manage updates
- Troubleshoot network issues (internet, routers, etc.)
- Support SharePoint intranet platform
- Develop and maintain an internal AI framework guidebook
- Collaborate on website and booking-system maintenance with Marketing
- Ensure booking system compliance with internal policies
- Hands-on IT support experience (hardware/software troubleshooting)
- Strong cybersecurity fundamentals (threat detection, data protection)
- Eagerness to own and develop an intranet platform
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proactive problem solver with strong initiative
- Entrepreneurial environment with an agile structure
- Significant autonomy and decision-making authority
