Job Summary
Our client who is in the insurance industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Consultant in Bloemfontein to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening IT infrastructure, driving digital transformation, and ensuring secure, reliable systems that support business objectives within the insurance industry.
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of IT experience (insurance or fintech preferred)
• Strong technical skills (networking, systems, security)
• Knowledge of insurance industry trends and tech
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, AWS)
• Fluency in English and local languages (e.g., Afrikaans, Sesotho, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
• Valid drivers licence
• Own vehicle

Skills required:

• IT infrastructure assessment and optimization
• Network administration and troubleshooting
• Systems administration (Windows/Linux environments)
• Cybersecurity and data protection
• Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Software and hardware support

Duties and responsibilities:
