Duties:

• Conduct IT risk assessments and identify areas requiring independent assurance
• Perform audits focusing on system governance, information security, data integrity, and IT operations
• Review and assess policies such as change management, business continuity, and information security
• Evaluate IT general controls, application controls, and systems development processes
• Perform audits on cloud environments, project implementations, and cybersecurity practices
• Draft clear and balanced audit reports, presenting key findings and practical recommendations
• Provide expert advice and guidance on IT risk management and control improvements

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Cyber Security certification (Advantageous)

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years' IT audit experience, 6 years' Risk Management experience, ideally within eCommerce or technology-driven sectors
• Experience with audit or data analytics software
• Experience with IT auditing standards, methodologies, and tools
• Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SharePoint
• Exposure to SOX controls

Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge across multiple technology areas such as databases, networks, and software development
• Strong understanding of IT risk, control frameworks, and cybersecurity principles
• Knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Understanding of finance and accounting principles
