Job Summary Our client is a highly respected international organisation operating in the digital and technology space. They provide independent assurance services that promote fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance across global markets.
We are seeking a Compliance Auditor to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, reviewing compliance frameworks, and delivering insights that ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Duties:

  • Perform compliance audits across diverse clients in line with regulatory and industry standards.
  • Evaluate policies, controls, and operational procedures for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Draft clear and comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations.
  • Track remediation of identified issues and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Research and stay up to date with regulatory developments impacting the sector.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to stakeholders on compliance matters.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity throughout all audit processes.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A bachelor's degree in science, Commerce, or a related discipline (NQF Level 7) or an equivalent qualification supported by proven competency.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, COBIT, or Cybersecurity credentials (e.g., CEH or similar technical certifications) will be highly advantageous.
  • Accreditation in ISO 27001 or related information security standards would be a strong asset.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years' auditing experience, with preference for candidates who have exposure in a Big 4 audit firm environment.
  • Experience in IT auditing or equivalent, supported by demonstrable competency.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements or similar IT and business risk/control-based audits.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft clear reports and present findings effectively.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, guide, and mentor others.
  • Highly organised with effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines under pressur
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
