IT Audit Specialist Closing Date: 2023 / NOV/ 27 Location: Pretoria, Hatfield Nature of work: (FIXED TERM CONTRACT) QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant Degree (NQF 7) (IT/Computer Science/Information Systems/ Auditing/ Accounting/ Equivalent) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • ISACA Membership.
  • ISACA certifications (CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, CCAK) will be an added advantage.
  • 6 Years relevant working experience in IT Audit, (external audit or internal auditing) of which 3 years must be at a supervisory level.
  • Experience is Project Assurance reviews is essential
  • Experience is IT Security Reviews (including database review, firewall, patch management and vulnerability management) is essential.
  • Experience in Application Controls Review is essential.
Critical Competencies; xe2x9cx93 Able to plan and strategize. xe2x9cx93 Solid knowledge of mentoring and coaching xe2x9cx93 Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) xe2x9cx93 Knowledge of best practice frameworks (e.g., COSO, etc.). xe2x9cx93 Able to execute and oversee audits. xe2x9cx93 Solid knowledge of report-writing. xe2x9cx93 Knowledge of Data Analysis xe2x9cx93 Must be able to compile accurate reports. xe2x9cx93 Solid knowledge of the PFMA and treasury regulations xe2x9cx93 Knowledge of Project Management xe2x9cx93 Financial Management xe2x9cx93 Manage staff effectively. xe2x9cx93 Solid knowledge of professional standards (IIA) / ISACA xe2x9cx93 Knowledge of research / benchmarking.
