Company Description The Franschhoek Wine Tram is a unique hop-on hop-off tour that takes passengers on a leisurely journey through the Franschhoek Valley's picturesque vineyards. The tour provides passengers with unparalleled views of the valley and some of South Africa's oldest and most distinguished wine estates. In addition to wine tasting and cellar tours, passengers also have the opportunity to enjoy world-class cuisine, warm hospitality, and a 300-year-old history. Role Description The Franschhoek Wine Tram is seeking an IT Assistant for a full-time, on-site position located in Franschhoek. The IT Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure and providing technical support to staff and customers. Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office products, Gmail, and Google Drive
- Understanding of networking and network administration
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Office 365, SharePoint and OneDrive is a plus, but not required
- Experience with web design and development is a plus, but not required
- Franschhoek, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
