Intercare Corporate Services situated in Menlyn, Pretoria, seeks to recruit an IT Applications Manager. The purpose of the position is to manage all aspects related to the implementation, configuration, upgrade, testing, uptime and availability of the application stack used in the organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the organizations application stack ranging from Practice Management Systems, Web and Online Systems, ERP Systems and Cloud Systems.
• Defines performance targets and measures to ensure performance of application experience by end users.
• Manage costs to ensure the optimal utilization of assets and budgets.
• Report to manager on a regular basis on the health, projects and expansion of the application set.
• Ensure application setup consistency.
• Manage and maintain databasis.
• Ensure recoverability of applications.
• Oversee support of all software packages within the Group, including installation, training, upgrades, maintenance and user support.

• Handle application configuration management, access control and master data management.
• Improve data quality.
• Oversees the planning, design, management; execution and reporting of tests in accordance with agreed standards
• Provide support services and investigate and resolve 2nd line problems. Software platforms include, among others:

• GoodX / Practice Perfect / Dental X-rays / AS400
• Web bookings support / maintenance
• Office 365 / SharePoint
• Ensure data is captured correctly and provide relevant data to management teams to enable reliable business decision making.
• Performance management of team members to achieve personal and business goals.
• Assess security risks and implement sufficient controls
• Technology risk analysis and implementation of risk mitigating controls.
• Defining company standards and policies for systems, equipment, data management and software in line with best practice guidelines (including POPIA).

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Computing or Information Systems or similar.
• Appropriate SQL experience required.
• Full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis and development.
• Clear understanding of business models and the organizations overall medium to long term strategy.
• Strong Understanding of what IT delivery is and how IT service fits into the requirements of the business function.
• Proven track record in implementing new business systems and process optimization in a healthcare or similar environment.
• Must be knowledgeable and take a keen interest in consumer engagement trends, technology trends, cyber security trends, related regulations, adoption behaviours and measurement frameworks / tools
• 3 Years' Experience at Management level
