This successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining computer systems for new and existing staff, including installing hardware, software, and operating systems.The Key responsibilities for this role are to:Creating accounts and profiles for new usersOffering user support via various methods including face-to-face, phone, or remote softwareEnsuring continuous task completion or appropriate referralKeeping the ticketing system updated, resolving or escalating cases as neededConducting regular ICT quality checks on a weekly and monthly basisReplacing parts when necessaryTroubleshooting computer and network issues, resolving hardware and software faultsAssisting IT managers with documentation and reports, ensuring they are currentGuaranteeing successful data backup proceduresMaintaining printer functionality and ensuring adequate suppliesProviding IT support to both office and site staff in Cape TownRecommended Qualifications, Skills, and ExperienceMatricWorking knowledge in A+ and N+ required2+ Years of working experience in a Domain environmentMicrosoft Certification(s) will be advantageousITIL Foundation certification will be advantageousKnowledge of MS Office 2013,2016 and Office 365Knowledge of MS Server 2012,2016,2019Excellent communication skillsExcellent admin skillsClosing date, Friday 03 May 2024How to ApplyAll applications must be submitted online.
