ISO 9001:2015 Quality & Compliance Management
This person must maintain the ISO system ensuring it is completed continuously and in full compliance, ensuring NCRs are completed and submitted timeously, Change Requests are completed and submitted timeously, things expiring (such as training, calibrations, tests, services) are arranged for and executed before expiry date. Documentation is updated and stored correctly. Procedures are followed. Identifying areas for improvement.
Quality Control (QC) Requirements

• Incoming Material Inspection: Establish procedures for raw material quality checks upon receipt
• In-Process Quality Checks: Define control measures at each production stage to ensure compliance. Already in place, ensure it is being maintained and improved on (if needed)
• Final Product Inspection: Implement verification protocols before distribution, including batch testing. Already in place, ensure it is being maintained and improved on (if needed)
• Non-Conformance Management: Develop processes for identifying, investigating, and resolving defects.
• Customer Complaint Handling: Create a system for tracking and resolving customer-reported quality issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Utilize quality metrics to drive improvements in product consistency and reliability.

Legal Compliance

• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with national and international chemical industry regulations (e.g., SABS, REACH, OSHA).
• Product Labeling & Documentation: Maintain proper MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and legal product descriptions.
• Supplier & Vendor Compliance: Conduct audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to legal and quality standards.
• Data Protection & Documentation: Maintain records of compliance-related documentation and audits for traceability.

Chemical Safety & Handling

• Hazard Identification: Perform risk assessments for chemicals stored and used in manufacturing.
• Safe Handling Procedures: Implement SOPs for chemical storage, transportation, and disposal.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Enforce appropriate PPE usage for all personnel handling chemicals.
• Spillage & Emergency Response: Establish clear protocols for chemical spills and exposure incidents. and air quality assurance.

HSQ (Health, Safety & Quality)

• Health & Safety Training: Conduct routine safety training for employees handling hazardous chemicals.
• Equipment & Machinery Safety: Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment.
• Incident & Accident Reporting: Develop protocols for logging and investigating workplace incidents.
• Fire & Explosion Safety: Install fire suppression systems and develop emergency response plans.
• Safe Storage & Warehousing: Maintain proper storage conditions for flammable and reactive chemicals.

Business Compliance

• Supplier & Third-Party Audits: Conduct periodic audits to verify compliance with ISO 9001 standards. -
