Teneo Education is seeking an experienced and dynamic IsiZulu First Additional Language (FAL) Teacher to join our IEB FET team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IsiZulu FAL curriculum, be confident using digital tools to deliver high-quality online instruction, and be committed to fostering an engaging, supportive, and interactive virtual learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging IsiZulu lessons to students in an online format. Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning. Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success. Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in education and online teaching methodologies. Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field. Teaching certification and relevant qualifications. Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in IsiZulu, preferably with experience in an online education setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning setting. * Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
