Introduction
Our client in the Agricultural sector is seeking a professional and results-driven Business Development & Technical Consultant to join their team in the irrigation division. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering superior customer service, expanding their client base, and supporting business growth. This position reports directly to the Business Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide professional advice and high-quality service to customers.
Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding orders and product inquiries.
Facilitate accurate and efficient sales transactions.
Monitor available stock and manage inventory levels proactively.
Ensure product displays are neat, current, and correctly priced at all times.
Develop and expand the existing client base through strategic relationship-building.
Conduct client visits periodically or upon request.
Collaborate with suppliers and Product Managers to source special-order products as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience in irrigation, gardening, and/or agriculture required.
Grade 12 (matric) qualification.
Valid driver's license.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Proficient in MS Office and computer literate.
Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Self-disciplined, with the ability to work independently
Package & Remuneration
Market related basic plus commission plus benefits to be discussed during interview
