Join a globally respected Intellectual Property Law Firm specialising in trademark protection, enforcement, and portfolio management.
Our client, a leading International Intellectual Property Law Firm, is seeking a highly skilled and driven Intellectual Property Lawyer (Trademarks) to join their dynamic global team. This remote role offers the opportunity to work on complex IP litigation and trademark matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Draft and prepare professional correspondence to clients, attorneys, and international associates regarding trademark matters.
Conduct legal research and draft comprehensive opinions and advisory notes on trademark and IP-related issues.
Manage a variety of Intellectual Property litigation matters, including trademark infringement, opposition, cancellation, and name objection proceedings.
Handle Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) complaints and domain name disputes, providing strategic advice to clients.
Advise clients on IP enforcement strategies, brand protection, and risk management.
Support and coordinate with global offices on cross-border IP disputes, portfolio maintenance, and litigation strategy.
Ensure that all trademark-related matters comply with local and international IP laws, treaties, and procedural requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
LLB Degree (required).
Admitted Attorney with a strong legal and academic background.
Qualified Trademark Practitioner with Group 1 and Group 2 SAIIPL examinations completed.
4 - 5 years' experience in Trademarks Law within a reputable Intellectual Property law firm.
Proven experience in litigation, including High Court litigation related to IP matters.
Exceptional legal drafting, analytical, and research skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to manage client relationships across jurisdictions.
High attention to detail, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
