Job SummaryOne of the well known telecommunication companies in S.A. is looking for an experienced IP Network Manager to join their team in JHB, for a 2-year contract.Responsibilities:
- CAPEX / OPEX
- Strategy drafting and implementation
- Project management
- Planning and design of core mobile network
- Network optimisation
- Involved with contract negotiations
- Recruiting and training staff - team of 8
- Overall performance management
- Stakeholder engagement
- Core network stability, quality, capacity and performance
- Matric
- National Diploma or Degree - Technical
- Familiar with core network technologies: PS / IMS Core / CS
- 2 Years' of management experience
- Track record of leading cross-functional project teams
- More than 5 years' experience in Telecom Mobile Core
- Proper understanding of signal protocols, mobile core architecture, cloud-based technologies and virtualization architecture
- Broad understanding of IP and RAN
- Business acumen
- Financial Acumen
- Assertive
- Customer centric
- Excellent English communication
- Great track record - reference checks will be conducted upfront
- Willing to travel local and abroad
- Valid drivers' license
