About the Role
Induno is looking for a hands-on IoT Operations & Device Support Specialist to join our growing hardware and operations team. You'll be responsible for ensuring our AI-powered edge devices are always field-ready and functioning optimally -- from factory floor to live customer sites.
This is a hybrid role combining technical troubleshooting, device provisioning, and operational coordination. You'll work closely with engineering, logistics, and deployment teams to scale our hardware systems with precision and reliability.
What You'll Do
oFlash Jetson Orin boards, SSDs, and run QA on cameras, modems, GPS, and wireless modules.
oAssemble, test, and package fully integrated edge kits for field deployment.
oTrack inventory and place hardware orders to maintain stock levels.
oCoordinate with third-party installers and manage device logistics.
oMonitor our device fleet and respond to alerts, service downtimes, and hardware issues.
oMaintain QA logs, provisioning records, and hardware documentation.
What We're Looking For
oKnowledge of edge computing, IP cameras, PoE, and networking fundamentals.
oFamiliarity with Azure IoT Hub or other IoT provisioning platforms (a plus).
oStrong organizational skills and the ability to follow structured QA processes.
oExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R10000,00 - R20000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Umhlanga Rocks, KwaZulu-Natal 4319: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
