About the team:
To act as a Product Specialist of Ninety One IP and to be responsible for the delivery of key strategic initiatives with a particular emphasis on the Ninety One offshore product range. As the Product Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of promoting the Ninety One Advanced Advisor Solutions proposition, driving growth and success in a dynamic and exciting market.
In this role you will:

+ Identify, develop, and manage offshore opportunities with the independent financial advisory space
+ Specialised sales activity (particularly related to offshore), assisting the sales team to achieve their sales targets through targeted value-add meetings
+ Advanced knowledge of the Ninety One offshore fund range, with the ability to assist advisors in utilising our offshore funds within our offshore product set
+ Assisting advisors and sales teams with complex client scenarios by providing bespoke proposals, ensuring sales opportunity is maximized and that this assistance is converted to deal flow into our products
+ Continually upskill oneself on both competitors and the offshore regulatory and tax landscape, create content related to this and assist in upskilling the Sales team on this material
+ Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the national IFA market
+ Present to our advisor base via a mix of one-to-one meetings, webinars and face to face events
+ Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales managers, the product team, servicing teams, and senior management, to drive the proposition forward
+ Production of articles and content for presentations
+ Broadening revenue sources for Ninety One IP by identifying the customer, regulatory and technology changes that will define the industry in years to come and ensuring we are well placed to capitalize on them
+ Exploring new commercial opportunities to increase revenue and driving key strategic product development initiatives within our local and offshore product sets
+ Interrogating new business partnership opportunities such as offshore trust companies
+ Assist Head of Sales in driving key sales focus areas of the business
+ Collaboration with channel heads in key areas such as Product, Sales, Marketing, Advisor Services & SAUT to help establish and drive major initiatives
You should consider applying if you have:

+ B Com or CFP/CFA
+ 5 years offshore platform or investment sales experience
+ Shows creativity in interpreting data and financial planning angles and can convert into clientfriendly


material
+ Proficient in excel
+ Ability to leverage existing networks and relationships
+ Good knowledge of offshore Unit Trusts and Platform Products
+ An understanding of the legal & fiduciary aspects of the Ninety One offshore range
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Proven ability to develop firm ties with clients, partners and teams of staff
+ Confident to present
+ The role will require travel
+ Project management, market research, sales and marketing expertise
+ Strong inter-personal skills
+ Ability to convey complex ideas
+ Strong strategic/business instincts
