We're looking for an

Inventory Controller

to join our DC team in Cornubia, Durban. In this role, you'll ensure stock accuracy, drive efficiencies, and support the seamless flow of product from warehouse to store.

Purpose of the Role:

To manage and control inventory by ensuring all picking, packing, receiving, and stock take processes are completed accurately and on time, enabling effective supply to our retail network.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control

Ensure correct and accurate picking against picking instructions, reporting discrepancies immediately. Verify stock is extracted from correct bin locations with zero errors. Oversee packing accuracy, ensuring cartons are sealed, labelled, and weighed on the same day. Assist with stock take preparation and unit counts. Consolidate stock onto pallets for storage efficiency. Manage accurate daily receipts of inbound inventory, reporting all errors promptly.

Administration

Maintain and file binning and extraction instructions daily in line with control spreadsheets. Complete and submit 20 weekly bin audit checks. Ensure all stock is palletized and labelled correctly.

Health & Safety

Enforce compliance with health and safety protocols. Report and escalate any non-conforming equipment. Maintain excellent housekeeping standards: everything has a place, and everything is in place.*

Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 (essential) 1-2 years' working experience in inventory control or warehouse/distribution (retail preferred) RMS Inventory Control experience and knowledge Computer literate
