Job Description
- Provide Milk recording and improvement services to dairy farmers.
- Support the recruitment of new dairy farmers in Milk Recording and Improvement Scheme.
- Participate in the training and re-training dairy farmers.
- Support the marketing of the scheme to enhance participation and growth.
- Visit farmers for Milk Recording and Improvement Scheme purposes.
- Train new participants in Milk Recording and Improvement Scheme.
- Assists milk recording participants with interpretation of management reports and give feedback to improve their dairy enterprise.
- Attends farmers days, auctions and shows to be actively involved and to build public relations.
- Draw up Milk Recording input data for processing monthly reports
- Complete travel and subsistence forms.
- National Diploma in Animal Production.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Good communication skills written and verbal.
- Valid Driver's License will be advantage.
