The university invite graduates who are passionate, driven and looking to gain practical experience in the field of agriculture. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in agriculture forestry. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the industry and gain valuable insights into the agricultural sector.
Requirements:
- BSc. Agriculture in Forestry
- The applicant must be 18 to 35 years of age
- The applicant must be South African citizen
- No work experience required
- Assist with daily forestry operations, including planting, pruning, thinning, and harvesting trees.
- Monitor forest growth, health, and productivity, ensuring sustainable practices are applied.
- Participate in forest inventory and data collection activities, such as measuring tree diameters, heights, and species identification.
- Support the implementation of forest regeneration and reforestation programs.
- Assist in managing agroforestry systems, integrating trees with crops or livestock.
