Assist in preparation of material and equipment's for field works.
Assist in data collections and data labelling in the field.
Assist with data capture, storage and management during and after field work.
Assist in ensuring proper use and management of research equipment.
Assist in compiling monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external projects.
Assist in general project management.
Assist in coordinating the Range and Forage Science research activities.
Adherence to standard operating procedure and Occupational Health and Safety policies.
Contribute to all research projects managed by the ARC: AP-Range and Forage Sciences team.
Provide verbal and written feedback on work activities.
Support the Mission, Vision and core values of the ARC.
National Diploma/BSc/Honours/MSc in Agricultural Management, Animal Sciences, Plant Sciences, Wildlife Management and Biodiversity Conservation.
Further post graduate qualifications will be an advantage.
Prior experience in rangeland and/or animal related field work.
Good Interpersonal Skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written).
Interpersonal skills.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service, externally and internally as well with maintaining confidentiality.
Experience in handling multiple tasks.
Ability to make informed decisions quickly and execute those decisions with confidence.
Proven experience in working with large teams.
A Driver's license Code 8 or 10 will be an added advantage.
