to manage the end-to-end procurement, trading, and distribution of meat products across global markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international trade regulations, market trends, and logistics, and will play a critical role in expanding and maintaining our global supply chain and customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage a portfolio of international clients and suppliers in the meat industry.
Source meat products (beef, lamb, poultry including Turkeyetc.) from global markets in line with demand and quality standards.
Negotiate trade terms, pricing, and contracts with both suppliers and buyers.
Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to make data-driven trading decisions.
Ensure compliance with international import/export regulations, sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards, and food safety requirements.
Coordinate with logistics, warehousing, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance of traded products.
Maintain accurate documentation and manage the full trade lifecycle including invoicing, shipping, and customs.
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter and grow in new territories.
Requirements:
Proven experience (3+ years) in international meat trading or protein commodity markets.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Sound knowledge of international logistics, incoterms, and trade compliance.
Familiarity with food safety standards, meat grading, and certifications (e.g., Halal, USDA, HACCP).
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/trade platforms.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Agribusiness, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Existing network of meat suppliers and buyers across regions (Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, etc.).
