Our organization, specializing in pipeline components and system integrity, requires a technically proficient Internal Sales Representative.
This role is crucial for supporting our established industrial client base. The successful candidate must possess a solid background in the technical specifications and application of fluid control components (valves, pipes, and fittings) and have demonstrable experience engaging directly with customers in critical infrastructure sectors such as water/wastewater management, mining, or general industrial processing.
Salary: R15,000 - R20,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full internal sales cycle from initial inquiry to delivery coordination.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client inquiries regarding pipeline solutions, components, and applications.
Accurately generate and present technical quotations, proposals, and tender responses.
Process sales orders, ensuring meticulous verification of product specifications, pricing, and client requirements.
Provide technical support and foundational consultation on the appropriate selection and sizing of valves, couplings, and pipes for demanding industrial and civil applications.
Collaborate closely with internal production, logistics, and engineering departments to ensure efficient order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
Develop and maintain robust, long-term relationships with customers and procurement specialists.
Requirements:
A minimum of years of experience in an internal sales or sales support capacity, preferably within the fluid control or heavy industrial supply chain.
In-depth technical understanding of industrial valves (e.g., air, check, butterfly), couplings, fittings, and various piping materials (e.g., Ductile Iron, HDPE, Steel).
Proven track record of servicing clients in critical sectors such as water supply, wastewater management, mining, or specialized industrial projects.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for managing complex technical and commercial discussions.
Familiarity with sales processing tools (CRM) and standard office software.
