Internal Salesperson - Vredenburg, West Coast Cape Town - R15 000
A prominent supplier of bearings, power transmission, and related products is looking for a dedicated Internal Salesperson to join their team and play a vital role in driving sales within our branch.
Purpose:
Responsible for internal/counter sales function
Support external sales staff on quotes and customer leads
Handle sales-related administrative functions
Communicate with customers, make sales calls, and follow up on quotes
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent (National Certificate NQF Level 5)
Strong product knowledge in bearings, power transmission, and allied products
3 to 5 years of industry-related sales experience
Skilled in oral and written communication
Basic arithmetic skills for drawing up quotations
Experience in internal sales and CRM use is advantageous
Knowledge, Skills, and Behavioural Attributes:
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Emotionally resilient with conflict handling skills
Basic metrology knowledge
Self-organized with sales and persuasion skills
Administrative and customer-oriented
Proficient in computer skills (MS Office Suite, CRM systems)
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Responsibilities Include:
Tele-canvassing/cold calling
Handling quotes and invoice processing
Providing sales support to external reps
Conducting counter sales
Managing cash and general administrative tasks
