Internal Sales (technical Automation/manufacturing Industry)
Job Description
Our client within the automotive and manufacturing industry is seeking a skilled internal sales and application engineer to join the team. Candidates are required to have a completed Mechanical Engineering Degree (BEng/BSc/BTech) or similar. Technical knowledge would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of draughting, CAD basics (Inventor/AutoCAD), and experience on Syspro.
The purpose of this role is to assist the internal sales manager and review internal sales processes and applying engineering analysis and methodology to optimize internal sales processes and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the order life cycle for OEM customers.
- Expediting Orders with planning & production department.
- Analyze and apply engineering principles (e.g. Lean methodology) to review and implement improvements in internal sales.
- Execute application engineering tasks such as technical calculations, feasibility checks, and product specifications.
