Internal Sales Rep (Industrial Supplies) - Sasolburg.

We are seeking a proactive and driven Internal Sales Representative to manage customer relationships and drive sales from our Sasolburg branch location.



The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for converting enquiries into sales and ensuring exceptional service delivery across our product portfolio (Gas, Welding, and Safety).



Salary Range: R18,000 to R25,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Quotation Management: Generate and process accurate sales quotations, orders, and invoices in a timely manner. Follow up diligently on all quotations to convert sales and achieve monthly targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the product range (e.g., matching welding machines with consumables and necessary PPE). Customer Service: Handle incoming sales calls and email enquiries, providing expert advice on product specifications, availability, and pricing. Act as the liaison between the customer and the operations/warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment and dispatch of orders. Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Product Expertise: Maintain an in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of our core products, including industrial gas types, welding consumables (wire, electrodes), power tools, and the full safety equipment range. Consult with customers to understand their industrial application needs and recommend the appropriate solutions. Administration and Reporting: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) database accurately. Prepare sales reports for management, tracking performance against key metrics.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

We require a minimum of 2-3 years of proven success in an Internal Sales or Counter Sales role within the industrial hardware, welding, gas, engineering, or related technical supply industry. Product Knowledge and practical understanding of industrial supplies are highly advantageous. Specific experience with Welding/Cutting equipment, Industrial Gases (LPG, Argon, Oxygen), or Safety/PPE will be prioritized. You must possess a Grade 12 Certificate (Matric) or an equivalent qualification. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with a sales/inventory management system. * We are looking for an individual who is highly organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, and possesses a strong commitment to professional customer service.
