Job Description

Sales
1. Typing of quotes, incoming via email / phone
2. Issue quotes and P/Invoices on enquiries from existing customers.
3. Receive confirmed orders.
4. Liaise with different divisions to ensure close-out of export queries.
5. Communicating with clients in African countries.
6. Processing of new orders timeously.

Administration
1. Attend to telephone calls, requests, enquiries and provide general information.
2. Assist Manager with administration / reports.
3. Maintain and ensure efficient documentation and filing of all export correspondence and documents.
4. Manage customer accounts - credit limits, payments, new accounts.

Logistics
1. Dealing with freight companies, obtaining quotes, learning shipping routes.
2. Assist with the arrangement and coordination of logistics, system processing, freight planning & payment terms
3. Knowledge of Incoterms
4. Complete any schedules and reports required by Finance, Sales & Marketing.
5. Liaising with CGIC and other finance institutes for cover of foreign orders.
6. Knowledge of all customs rules & Regulations.

1. Qualifications required:
i. Minimum academic qualification: Grade 12
ii. Qualifications as an added advantage: Sales and marketing qualification

2. Experience required:
i. General work experience (years): 2 years sales experience. Export experience advantageous
ii. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 2 years in Steel /Roofing organisation

3. Language requirements:
i. English

4. Computer literacy:
i. Ms office
ii. SAP xe2x80x93 Advantageous

5. Personality profile:
i. Customer oriented
ii. Good communication skills
