Internship Opportunity for 12 months!!!

As an Internal Sales Intern, you will be required to build relationships with new and existing customers, selling of products and services offered, and consciously and competently apply the product knowledge and selling skills that will be taught to you. You will be responsible for assisting in achieving sales targets as the focus is on growing the customer base to increase the revenue in your area of responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the internal sales team in generating leads, prospecting potential clients, and identifying sales opportunities.
• Building relationships with new and existing customers.
• Calling prospective customers for selling products and services.
• Conducting daily telesales and cold calling.
• Assist in constantly achieving sales targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline development.
• Assist with completing enquiry sheets and customer contracts as and when needed.
• Liaising with the logistics department on machine/equipment availability and servicing checks.
• Contacting customers to check all details are correct and confirming orders.
• Consistently use Product Knowledge skills and Learn about the features and benefits of the products to effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
• Complete a file cover with contract details with the machine/equipment supplied and on the hire date.
• Filling documentation in the correct order.
• Attending daily/weekly meetings is essential.
• Maintaining debtors and Cash accounts.
• Maintaining of machine/equipment off hires or terminations.
• Follow up with clients on a regular basis.

• Matric / Grade 12
• A degree/Diploma in Sales/Marketing or a relevant qualification will be an essential requirement.
• Driver's Licence is essential: Willing to travel as and when needed.
• Computer proficiency is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
