The Opportunity

We are looking for

experienced ex-diesel mechanics (preferably 50+ years of age)

who want to move off the workshop floor and into a new career in

internal sales

. This is a chance to use your hands-on knowledge of diesel engines, turbochargers, injectors, and electrical systems to

advise customers, process orders, and provide trusted product support from our Johannesburg head office

.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls, emails, and counter sales for our

Turbo, Diesel, and Electric product range

. Use your technical background to

assist customers with product identification, fitment advice, and troubleshooting

. Prepare and process

quotes, sales orders, and invoices

accurately. Build strong customer relationships by providing fast, reliable, and knowledgeable service. Support external sales staff with customer requirements and order follow-ups. Assist with warranty queries, returns, and product availability checks. Contribute to achieving sales targets with opportunities to earn commission.

What We're Looking For

Former

diesel mechanic or workshop background

(turbos, diesel injection, or rotating electrics). Age

50+ preferred

- bringing reliability, wisdom, and technical credibility with customers. Strong communication skills - confident on the phone, email, and in person. Comfortable with basic computer use (emails, documents, sales systems). Customer service mindset: patient, helpful, and solutions-driven. Based in or able to commute daily to
