Job Description

An Internal Sales person with Technical Sales experience on flow control, flow measuring and related equipment is required for a company based on the East Rand

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for telephonic sales, quotes and tenders

• Handling of incoming Sales and Technical telephonic enquiries

• For technical queries requiring External Sales follow up - ensure ALL relevant information is captured accurately
• Generation of quotes as per requirements and forwarding completed quotes to customers
• When required, assist branches/external sales with quotations
• Follow up on all pending quotes - internal and external
• Processing of all respective sales orders
• Processing of all invoices, inter-branch transfers, jobs, and related operations

• Expedite orders from branches, suppliers and external sales

• Selected management of stock and stock control
• Assist with branch liaison, technical and support
• Generation of respective sales, stock and other data/reports
• Assist with stock management system
• When needed have the ability and willingness to complete minor repairs of equipment in the workshop.
• Assist with administration of Workshop repairs

Requirements

• Grade 12
• MUST HAVE relevant industrial flow measuring equipment experience - experience in the Petro chemical industry is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years suitable Technical Internal Sales experience is mandatory. People without relevant Technical Sales experience will NOT be considered

• Relevant technical qualification would be beneficial
• Must be computer literate - MS Office

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Good mathematical skills and basic reasoning ability
