Responsibilities
Act as a central point of contact for client enquiries, providing timely updates and information.
Prepare and issue accurate quotations for solar and renewable energy solutions.
Compile and update bill of material (BOM) lists as required for sales orders.
Capture and process sales orders accurately in the ERP system.
Generate and send invoices to clients.
Support the sales team with all sales administration requirements, including order tracking and documentation.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client communications.
Liaise with internal departments (such as finance, procurement, and logistics) to support smooth order fulfilment.
Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the sales process runs efficiently.
Requirements
Minimum: High school certificate (matric). Mechanical or technical certificate beneficial.
2-3 years of experience in sales administration, preferably within a technical or renewable energy industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid numerical and administrative skills.
Intermediate Excel proficiency.
Experience with K8 or a similar ERP system.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
A proactive, service-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
* Passion for renewable energy and sustainability. Previous solar industry experience will be an advantage.
