Job Description


The Internal Sales Consultant will be responsible to grow and develop strong relationships with our customers by understanding their needs, and processing quotes and orders correctly and timeously. Offer excellent after-sales service., processes and technology.
Reporting to the Internal Sales Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Systems

  • Generating all customer quotes and orders on CRM system accurately and timely to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Liaising with the project manager and engineering team to ensure that solutions are correctly specified.
  • Identify the type of customer to increase sales by offering them the full basket of products - upselling. Notify them of specials and/or promotions.
  • Increase in conversion rate of quotes to orders.
  • Professionally handle customer complaints through to resolution timeously.
  • Record important client information on SAP and update business partner profiles accordingly.
  • Pass all leads or potential projects on to the business development team.
  • Be involved in specific tasks from time to time as defined by your manager.
  • Professionally promote Freedom Won at all times through effective and regular clear communication.
Administration
  • Supply clients with correct ETAs and stock levels.
  • Reduction of back orders and queries through effective management of stock on delivery. Confirm collection dates with clients and inform the supervisor of any delays.
  • Regular feedback to customers on the status of backorders and inform them of any change in status.
  • Send top customers backorder/stock on delivery reports on a weekly basis where customers require this information.
  • Request monthly stock-on-hand and average sales reports from top clients.
  • Manage quote pipeline through regular follow-ups with customers. Follow quotes through to resolution and close off quotes on SAP.
  • Follow up on RMAs to ensure transactions are not delayed.
  • Provide to support to regional account managers in terms of stock availability, lead times and basic technical queries.
Reporting
  • Inform the product management team of any items that may need to be added to SAP.
  • Provide feedback to the sales supervisor on the status of stock on delivery provide confirmed collection dates and order values.
  • Inform sales supervisor and commercial manager of imminent stock orders or projects that have been registered.
  • Inform sales supervisor of all stock-related issues.
Essential Requirements:
  • Grade 12/ Matric
  • NQF Level 6/7 Qualification Business / Sales / Electrical (Advantageous)
  • Microsoft Office Packages
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
At least 3-5 years experience in internal sales or sales administration Beneficial Requirements:
  • Netsuite
  • SAP
