What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it) You'll play a pivotal support role to the external sales team, ensuring seamless coordination and outstanding customer service. Acting as the first point of contact for incoming website and email enquiries, you'll respond promptly and professionally, qualifying and directing opportunities appropriately. You'll receive instructions from the external sales team and assist with quotations, cost calculations, reporting and sales administration. You'll manage the sample process, liaise with suppliers, provide status updates on projects, compile market information and help grow existing accounts through proactive support. While your primary focus is internal coordination, you may occasionally accompany external sales representatives on client visits.

What you'll need You'll have Matric, a qualification in food science, technology, chemistry or a related field is highly advantageous. We welcome both candidates with 0-2 years of experience in internal sales, marketing or customer service, as well as driven fresh graduates eager to build a career in technical sales. Strong MS Office skills, excellent written and verbal communication (English and Afrikaans), and confident email correspondence are essential. You'll need strong organisational ability, attention to detail, sound administrative skills and a proactive mindset. A valid drivers' license and own reliable transport is required.
