Key Responsibilities:
The intern will provide operational and administrative support to the Sales Department, including:
Managing general correspondence, emails, filing, and telephone support.
Monitoring the support mailbox and sales emails in the absence of staff.
Forwarding quotation requests and relevant emails to the correct personnel.
Preparing quotations/RFQs/tenders using GP calculators and ensuring timely submissions.
Maintaining databases of quotations/RFQs/tenders and calculating conversion rates.
Updating supplier and customer price lists and contact databases.
Maintaining electronic filing systems and records.
Assisting in identifying potential new clients and opportunities.
Participating in in-house training sessions and departmental events.
Assisting with congresses, workshops, academic days, and product launches.
Attending sales meetings and taking minutes.
Performing Medikredit tasks (Nappi code registration, price changes, Section 21 validation).
Coordinating customer satisfaction surveys.
Extracting SAP data to assist with monthly reports.
Assisting with customer complaints, enquiries, and order/tender follow-ups.
Qualification:
BSc degree, with Chemistry or Microbiology as one of the majors
Experience:
None required - suitable for recent graduates
