Internal IT Technical Sales Representative

Reyee, Mikrotik, Ubuiqiti, Tenda.

About the Role

The Internal IT Technical Sales Representative will play a key role in

driving sales of IT hardware and networking Products

. This role requires a combination of sales skills, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service to help clients find the right solutions for their business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Proactively

generate new business

through cold calling, canvassing, and lead follow-ups. Identify customer needs and propose suitable

IT and networking solutions

. Provide technical product information and advice to clients. Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, proposals, and product specifications. Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve monthly targets. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, support, logistics) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Stay up to date with the latest IT networking technologies and product trends.

Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 essential. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in

IT sales or technical sales

(distribution or reseller environment advantageous). Strong knowledge of

IT networking products

(routers, switches, firewalls, servers, cloud solutions). Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong customer service and relationship-building ability. Results-driven with a proven sales track record. MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). Own transport and valid driver's licence essential.
