The Internal Home Services Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive relationship management, support, coordination, and technical expertise to internal business partners. This role also entails direct line management of the internal channel home loans sales teams within the provincial structures.
Deliver expert relationship management and technical support to internal business partners, ensuring the highest standards of service and expertise.
Provide authoritative leadership and direct line management to internal channel home loans sales teams, driving performance and maintaining operational excellence across provincial structures.
Offer crucial support to the branch network, disseminating critical information on product updates, facilitating comprehensive training programmes, communicating criteria changes, and developing strategic tactics for business acquisition.
Spearhead initiatives to bolster home loan sales through the Branch channel, implementing data-driven strategies and monitoring key performance indicators.
Serve as a subject matter expert, offering guidance on complex home loan products and services to internal stakeholders and team members.
Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in all aspects of home loan services and sales operations.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement targeted development plans to enhance team capabilities and achieve organisational objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in home loan services delivery.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
Degree (NQF Level 7) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience Required:
Personal and Private Banking
3 - 5 years relevant experience in the financial services sector, with a focus on home loans or mortgage products
Proven successful sales track record in the financial services industry, demonstrating consistent achievement of targets and growth
Advanced product knowledge including specialised products and financial structures related to home loans and mortgages
Advanced experience and knowledge in Credit and Compliance matters, including familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks
Exceptional negotiating skills and conflict handling abilities, with a track record of resolving complex client issues
Significant people management experience, leading teams and motivating people to achieve high performance
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to drive business growth
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and financial data to inform decision-making
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences
Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Experience in change management and process improvement within a financial services context
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes
