Are you passionate about uncovering insights, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence? We're on the lookout for a meticulous and dynamic Internal Auditor to join a fast-paced FMCG / Manufacturing business based on the West Rand. In this permanent role, you'll be key in delivering critical business process audits across their manufacturing plants, branches, and distribution operations. From audit planning to reporting, you'll play a vital role in evaluating internal controls, risk management, and governance practices that keep the business robust and compliant. Own car and valid drivers license essential.
Successful candidate will have a completed B.Com (Accounting / Internal Auditing) / similar, and be a member of the IIA. A minimum of 5 years experience in Internal Auditing within the FMCG / Manufacturing sector is essential. Be responsible for routine Business Process audits with reviews also to be conducted across the company's 2 manufacturing sites, branches and distribution operations. The role mainly involves evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management and governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. KPI's include: audit planning and execution; financial, operational and compliance audits; reporting and documentation; follow-up and monitoring; risk management and collaborating closely with Department Heads and staff to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement; provide training and guidance on internal controls, risk management and audit processes. Proficiency in audit software and MSOffice Suite essential. Willing to travel on occasion to depots in Durban as well as to the manufacturing site in Mozambique.
