Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement internal audit policies, procedures, and frameworks
- Perform end-to-end audits covering systems, finance, and operations
- Identify control weaknesses, risks, and inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports for senior leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct forensic audits and investigate irregularities or fraudulent activities
- Work autonomously while laying the groundwork for a scalable audit function
- Build and lead the audit team as the department expands over time
- Relevant degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field
- Professional membership (e.g., IRBA, CISA) required
- Completed articles with 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 post-articles experience in internal auditing, with exposure to finance, systems, and operations
- Demonstrated forensic audit experience
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Deadline-driven and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Collaborative and adaptable team player
