Duties:

• Perform audit tests and prepare working papers in accordance with professional methodology and standards
• Identify and document control and process weaknesses and provide essential support for findings
• Take direction from the Internal Auditor II and operate in highly complex environments dealing with multiple levels in the business in multiple geographical areas, requiring a deep understanding of the business
• Provide specialised technical/professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance
• Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance
• Obtain, check and refine information (Collate and submit reports, run data exception reports and take corrective action, and conduct document control spot checks)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric
• BCom Internal Audit
• BCom Honours Internal Audit
• CIA

Experience:

• 6 /8 years work experience in a large multi-national business or in xe2x80x9cBig 4xe2x80x9d firm preferably providing consulting and audit
• Experienced in the use and evaluation of data analytics
• Must be able to travel locally and internationally
• Must have experience on auditing file management systems e.g TeamMate, SAP GRC

Skills & Competencies:

• Demonstratable experience in working independently.
• Demonstratable experience working with internal and external stakeholders
• Exercise good judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results
• Must be able to perform well under pressure
