As a member of the internal audit team, you will have to comply with the requirements of the Internal audit charter, the code of ethics, and perform work which is consistent with Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Duties:

• Conducting regular internal audits of the branch's financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness independently and in a team
• Verifying the branch's cash and inventory balances, as well as performing checks on sales transactions and expenses.
• Ensuring that the branch is complying with relevant laws and regulations.
• Identifying any potential fraud or theft and taking appropriate action to prevent it.
• Recommending improvements to the branch's financial and operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Providing feedback to the branch management team on areas of improvement and potential risks.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Internal audit/ BTech Internal audit or similar qualification
• Studying towards CIA beneficial

Experience:

• 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 Internal audit experience
• Strong internal audit retail background is a MUST!
• Valid driverxe2x80x99s licence and own vehicle (Eligible for a company vehicle and fuel card after 3 months)
• Strong report writing skills
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively
• SAP will be beneficial
