e.tv

in the position of Research Intern.




About the Job





The Research Intern will support the Research Department by assisting in content research, audience insights, and market analysis to inform strategic content decisions across channels.




Roles and Responsibilities




Research Support





Assisting with fulfilling internal research requests from research Manager and team.



Assisting with conducting competitor analysis to help team stay abreast of competitor movements.


Assist in monthly reports





Contribute to the compilation of monthly reports on audience.



Support in gathering and organizing competitor analysis and content benchmarking data.



Assist with preparing insights related to audience trends, ratings, and channel performance.


Assist with any other ad hoc research request





Assist with ad hoc research tasks as needed.



Ensure data is accurately compiled and presented in a clear and professional format (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)



Contribute to creating user-friendly research deliverables for internal stakeholders.

Requirements




Qualifications





National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) - Essential



National Diploma in Marketing and/or Statistics and/or relevant media studies (NQF Level 6) - Essential


Competencies





Basic proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)



Intermediate English language proficiency



Accuracy / Attention to Detail



Planning and Organising

Continuous Learning




Additional Requirements





Must be a South African citizen



Must be under the age of 35



Candidates who have previously participated or are currently engaged in a SETA-funded internship are not eligible.
