The individual in this role is required to assist with administrative tasks, data entry, document handling, and interdepartmental coordination, supporting the Programme Coordinator and contributing to the smooth functioning of licensing operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
Contract Support & Documentation
+ Assist in reviewing contract summaries and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
+ Help prepare contract take-on forms by summarizing basic programme licensing details such as title, license term, and payment breakdowns.
+ Support the filing and organization of original contracts and associated paperwork.
Data Entry & Systems Support
+ Input contract-related information into internal databases and systems under supervision.
+ Help generate simple reports and check for consistency in data between systems.
+ Perform data validation and clean-up exercises in the Broadcast Management System (BMS).
Content Provider Coordination
+ Maintain and update the internal list of content producers and distributors.
+ Assist in outreach to content providers to confirm programme information where needed.
Internal Liaison & Administration
Work with Acquisitions, Scheduling, and Finance teams to support information sharing.
Help compile materials required for internal queries, reconciliations, or audit support.
Track pending contract amendments and updates for follow-up by senior staff.

Requirements
Qualifications:
National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) - Essential
Diploma and/or Degree in Media Studies and Business Administration (NQF Level 6) - Essential

+ Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
+ High level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
+ Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced media environment.
