Africa's leading specialist in the manufacturing of premium knitted and woven mattress fabric based in Elsies River Industrial is seeking to fill the role of a Product Development Intern.



This internship offers hands-on exposure to the full product development process within a manufacturing environment. You will gain an understanding of how development projects are initiated, managed, and integrated into production, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our product range.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Textile Technology, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. Genuine interest in product development, textiles, and the manufacturing process. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level). Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and the ability to capture, organize, and analyse information accurately Curious, proactive, and eager to learn through hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage across departments and functions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Support key development activities such as product testing. Ensure clear specifications are recorded and shared. * Track project plan from start to end, update and provide feedback on milestones.
