An opportunity for a University student to obtain the required workplace exposure has become available. We require student that has completed all theoretical modules of his / her qualification in BCom Honours In HRM, to be employed on a one-year fixed term contract at Wadeville.

Key Job Responsibilities

Assist in e nsuring ongoing compliance with the POPI Act by developing, implementing, and maintaining data protection policies and procedures Assist in conducting training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees about the proper handling of personal information and the implications of mishandling data Assist addressing and managing personal information breaches within departments, ensuring immediate action and preventive measures Assist in reviewing and updating data handling procedures to ensure compliance with POPI Work closely with IT and other departments to modify report designs, exclude unnecessary sensitive information, and enhance data protection Assist in developing and executing an audit plan to review different departments for POPI compliance, ensuring ongoing adherence to regulations

Qualifications/Requirements
