Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Client Services
o Handle enquiries from students/parents/third parties.
  • Student Registration
o Analyse student accounts.
o Provide assistance with provisional registration - student advice - process application forms.
  • Student Bursaries
o Receive bursary letters.
o Capture bursary letters.
o Liaise with sponsors.
  • Collections
o Communicate with students/parents/collection agencies.
o Process journals to write off accounts.
o Liaise with collection agencies.
  • Student Account Administration
o Analyse accounts.
o Create and post journals.
  • Refunds
o Receive refund applications.
o Check the completeness of the applications.
o Journalise transaction.
o Create and process vendors.
o Create and process vouchers.
  • Help Desk/Call Centre and Tuitionfees@ufs.ac.za - email
o Handle enquiries from walk-in students/parents/clients.
o Handle e-mail enquiries from students/parents/clients.
  • Cashiering
o Knowledge of cash procedures.
o Process receipts accurately.
o Send balance sheets to the head cashier daily.
o Ensure good record keeping.

Inherent requirements:
  • B. Com degree or related qualification on NQF level 7.
