Job Description
This role supports a growing cloud-based digital business that must operate at scale, with speed, agility, and efficiency. Youll partner with digital teams to optimise and maintain core systems and processes, ensuring stable, high-performing user experiences. Youll also guide the design and operation of new systems to meet these performance standards from day one.
Knowledge and Skills
- Systems Thinking the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)
- Problem Solving.
- Tertiary degree (BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related technology degree) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.
- Backend Development: Proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and Web API design and implementation.
- Database & Data Access: Strong experience with MS SQL (queries, stored procedures, optimization) and Entity Framework (ORM).
- Frontend Development: Hands-on knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, and styling with CSS/SCSS.
- Software Engineering Practices: Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and RESTful API best practices.
- Version Control & Collaboration: Experience with Git and working in a collaborative team environment (Agile/Scrum).

The proposed salary for the role is R35k - R40k per month. The offer will be market related in line with qualifications, skills, and experience.
