Intermediate Phase Teacher

Job Description
A qualified and experienced Intermediate Phase Teacher is required to teach Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences. The role requires a proven track record of teaching excellence, experience with the CAPS or IEB curriculum, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) or equivalent
- SACE certification
- Minimum 5 years classroom experience teaching Grades 4-6
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, English, Natural Science, and Social Sciences
- Computer literacy, including MS Office and virtual classroom platforms
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with CAPS/IEB curriculum
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives
- Manage classroom behaviour positively to support learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress
- Participate in school events, committees, and staff development initiatives
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, respect, and student growth
